The career outlook for graduates of the Master's program are diverse and all boast high employability. Renewable energies, electric vehicles, sustainable mobility and transportation, global decarbonization, and the increasingly necessary energy efficiency at all levels constitute not only the reasons justifying the high employability but also the main fields where our graduates can develop their professional lives.
It should be noted that the Master's training in these areas focuses on various levels: from the design and development of power systems and energy conversion to economic and project management, through high-level engineering (i.e. systems engineering) and data management. Obviously, always focusing on energy conversion and power systems. Therefore, our graduates have the possibility to work in different areas and at all levels within the aforementioned fields. This is achieved through core subjects common to all students. To allow students to further refine their training and future, one semester offers elective courses between two itineraries:
Smart Grids and Electrification of Transportation: allows our graduates to orient their professional future towards the design and development (at all levels) of:
Currently, our graduates occupy different levels and profiles in companies from various sectors, but always focused on Energy Conversion and Power Systems. Examples of companies can be found on the list of those that regularly offer internships to Master's students: Mercedes, Tesla, Ford, SEAT, Celestica, edp, ABB, Ingeteam, Siemens, Gamesa, Enfasys, Plexgrid, Frenetic, Electrónica y Comunicaciones, Emerson, E-Redes, isastur, Control Techniques, trainelec, and Martifer.
There is a wide range of specific job roles: from the design of converters and the corresponding control systems to network analysis, project management, resources and teams in the electrical field, analysis of the electricity market, etc.
